Clark and I celebrated our 2 year anniversary on August 8. It feels like it's flown by, but at the same time, a lot has happened in our short and long two years. I won't go into detail, but it's been the best two years of my life. Clark and I are best friends and I am very lucky to have him. He makes me laugh every day and that's why I married him. He works so hard for us and our little bank account and I appreciate so much everything he does.
We went down to St. George for our anniversary trip this year and saw the shows at Tuacahn. We're lucky that my cousins and aunt work in the box office and got us free tickets. We saw "The Sound of Music" and "Les Miserables." Blake and Emily (Clark's sister and brother-in-law) came down with us because they're anniversary is just a day after ours, but this was their third anniversary. They brought little Audrie with them and it was so fun to have her there with us.

Summer Concerts!
AMERICAN IDOL Live Tour! I realize this concert was a while back, but I just wouldn't feel right if I didn't give a shout out to the David's. Of course Archuleta is better, but Cook does pretty good. I went with my mom and two sisters and some of Alli's friends. Here's me and Mel in the crowd before all the excitement began, and believe me there was plenty of excitement. My mom loves this stuff and screamed for everyone!
JOHN MAYER! I forgot my camera this night, but we were so far away on the lawn at Usana that you wouldn't have been able to see much of John anyway. I went with my sister-in-law, Emily, and good friend, Liz, who is also sisters-in-law with Emily. We were lucky to see Colbie Callait open for John too. Colbie and John were both great and we had a totally fun girls night!
Each of the top ten finalists came out alone and sang a few songs so I took pictures of all of them, but the David's are most important. David Archuleta... he's actually standing in front of the big screen. We were close (row 22), but not that close. Everyone screamed so loud that I could barely hear his first song. He really is awesome.
And David Cook. He knows how to work the crowd and I actually almost thought he was kinda good looking. He explained that his guitar says AC for Adam Cook, his brother that convinced him to audition and then didn't make it. I got to go up to the third row while he sang his last song so I had to act like a crazed fan.JOHN MAYER! New York City!
I didn't realize that it had been so long since I had made a post! I've been wanting to do this for a while, but when it's your first trip to the big apple, you tend to take A LOT of pictures. I was a little overwhelmed with all my pics and I didn't want to overwhelm all of you, but I did want to share a few fun memories. This was the first night we (my mom, me, my sis Alli and her dance group) were there. We ate at Hard Rock Cafe then walked around Times Square. It was so fun to actually be in the places that you see in the movies.
We also went to the Statue of Liberty, where Alli's dance group performed in the rain. In the middle of a dance the entire statue full of people was evacuated and we didn't know why. Kinda scary. While waiting for things to get figured out, everyone was pushed back in between two souvenir shops and guess who walked out... President Uchdorf. It was pretty cool to see him and I actually got to shake his hand. We felt a little better about the bomb scare situation and everything was cleared up shortly.
This was the same night in the MTV store. I'm really on Team Lauren, but somebody had to be Team Heidi for the picture. Sometimes Lauren is kind of bratty, but I'm still on her side. :)
I was lucky to take a couple dance classes at "Steps" on Broadway. One day was a Jazz class and the next day was a Contemporary class. It was so fun! This pic was in the Lincoln Center right after one of the classes. This is obviously where the NYC Ballet is, as well as Juliard and several other artistic buildings. I'm definitely not a ballerina, but I was in a dancing mood.
You can't go to New York and not see at least one Broadway show. We saw "Wicked" and it was absolutely amazing. We also saw "Hairspray," which was good, but not as good as "Wicked."
The fun part was that Ashley Parker Angel (you know, the cute blonde from the boy band O Town who also had a reality show last year), he was Link, the hot boyfriend. We got a picture of him after the show, then I pretended I was on Broadway. That would be a dream come true, if only I could sing.We also went to the Statue of Liberty, where Alli's dance group performed in the rain. In between all these events we also went to the top of Rockefeller Center, got a tour of NBC studios where we sat in the Conan O'Brien and SNL studios, went shopping on 5th Avenue, got purses on Canal Street, walked through Central Park, toured the Metropolitan Museum, ate authentic NY pizza and a Falaffle, went to the biggest toy store in the world, rode the subway and a double decker bus, and saw "ground zero" which is now a construction site for new towers. Last, but not least, we got up early to be on the CBS Today Show.
They have stuff there for you to make posters and they make it look like there's a lot more people crowded around (AED is Alli's dance studio). That day Joey Fatone was there talking about his new show so that was cool to see him only a few feet away. Even though my feet hurt every day from walking EVERYWHERE, it was so fun and I will never forget my first trip to NYC!
